Well, it's been quite a bit since I last bothered with this thing. To be honest, I've had one shitty year in terms of art, but come quite a ways in terms of webdesign and development.
I've gone from knowing just about jack shit about PHP and mySQL to having a bit more than a comfortable knowledge with it in many forms. Pretty nice progression, I'd say. If you wanna see some of my experiments with dynamic content and CMS, check out my site [www.zephyrine.net].
Also, I've let my old domain lapse and now have a new one (see link above), thus closing another chapter in my past and opening a new one to use as a clean slate. So I'm working on that.
This whole stupid debacle with level3 acting like a bunch of petty babies had blocked me from being able to access deviantART, photobucket and Ragnarok Online, so I was holding myself over with website nonsense until it was fixed.
Hopefully this productivity will trigger my muse into coming back to me so I can get some work churned out like I used to. -____-;
I don't even remember anymore. I used to visit VCL a lot, or if you had a personal website. For some reason, I seem to think I found your artwork through Furcadia, but if you've never played, I could be mistaken. I recognized your character right away.
I have both a personal site and VCL account (although, since I'm not too big into furry, I don't use the VCL hardly ever). I also used to go on Furc, but haven't in some time. So, any of those could have been the source.
Thank you for the comment and fav. I really appreciate constructive criticism. People usually write "LOL" or just "Nice". Yours was much better. Again, thanks!
It's really no problem. In my artistic education and career, I've always been surrounded by those who not only praise, but offer their opinions and suggestions as well. It's only natural to help our brethren improve and think about things in a different light, right?
I wish more people on these online art communities appreciated constructive criticism. I was flamed for making some minor observations/suggestions on someone's work last week. I meant no harm, but they decided it was some kind of high crime.
Go figure, eh? Keep up the good work, though. I look forward to seeing more!
Yes, exactly. I really like comments, too, so when I see that I have a new one, I get all happy and stuff but then when I read it and it consists of one word, it's disappointing. x_X Thanks for the watch. I'm actually working on a picture right now. We'll see how it turns out and I might submit it. n_n
